IT Support

General - Key requirements

  • 3+ years of experience (ideally in service desk)
  • Languages: English (German is an advantage)
  • Team player
  • Service oriented
  • Ability to address tasks/problems proactively and comprehensively
  • Strong in communication and inter-cultural competency
  • A technical, logical thought process
  • An ability to stick to strict deadlines
  • An ability to prioritize
  • A keen eye for detail

Tasks:

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Setting up accounts for new users
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Providing support for phone system and mobile phones
  • Providing IT support for production sites
  • Work in an international team of 12 (6 ITO + 6 SAP)
  • Testing new technology
  • Possibly training junior staff
