Hoffmann the Tin is a part of the independent Swiss family business, Hoffmann Neopac (www.hoffmann-neopac.com) with branches in Switzerland, USA, India and Hungary. Hoffman the Tin is a producer of metal and plastic packaging for the consumer and industrial market. Think of cigar tins, candy tins, cosmetic jars and many other types of packaging. Hoffmann the Tin is also a specialist in promotional tin can packaging and the development of packaging concepts. SALES MANAGER / NEW BUSINESS ACQUISITION MANAGER, fulltime

Tasks

  • Find and develop new markets & clients
  • Focus on business acquisition (build up strategy, contact clients, & establish new projects which fit our existing portfolio)
  • Create immediate leads & ensure that technically we can respond to & fulfill clients requirements
  • Focus on quick turnaround within our trade products strategy
  • Understand the borderline of technical feasibilities within & outside your activities
  • Sell in- & external
  • Convert customer wishes into internal briefings for a smart & efficient R&D decision
  • Focus on speed & the solution fit
  • Convert the obtained market/client knowledge into a sustainable business acquisition strategy
  • Represent our organization towards various market stakeholders
  • Question status quo and bring up new ideas
  • Think out of the box
  • Force & motivate your environment to stay & obtain in the positive & progressive mood

Competencies:

  • Education – bachelor level – with a technical/ engineering education and commercial experience; or business education with commercial experience in selling technical products, or similar.
  • Experience- minimum of 3 years sales experience, preferably technical products/services.
  • Languages- English, German Fluent --> Dutch / French / Italian => nice to have

  • Skills- proven track record of successful business development in previous job(s); Hunter mentality; able to communicate with everyone from scientist to CEO’s. Never give up attitude
  • Personality- Communicative, independent and a “go get it” mentality. Acquisition is life, however also seeing the bigger strategic picture, defining it and following them.

Terms and conditions :

We offer you a dynamic and responsible job within a growing company with a pleasant and informal atmosphere. You have 27 vacation days, 13 ADV days, (on a full-time basis) an excellent salary, profit distribution and a good pension provision. We apply the CAO Metalelektro. Independent working (mainly on the road and home office) and 20% at office. You will be reporting into the Sales Director. Competitive salary and a car, phone, laptop, profit share and full travel expenses paid.
